Korea Travel Budget: 5 Days in Seoul for Filipinos

Korea Travel Budget

For the calculations in this article only, gagamit tayo ng fixed planning assumption, hindi live exchange-rate quote:

₱1 ≈ ₩24

Magkano ang Budget for 5 Days in Seoul?

Budget traveler: ₱25,000–₱35,000

Comfortable traveler: ₱35,000–₱50,000

With shopping and more paid attractions: ₱50,000+

1. Round-Trip Airfare: Manila to Seoul

Estimated Airfare

₱7,000–₱15,000 round trip

2. Accommodation for 4 Nights

Myeongdong, Hongdae, Dongdaemun, Jongno at Sinchon.

ScenarioNightly input4 nights in won4-night peso equivalent

Check the final room total for taxes, extra-person charges and cancellation terms; actual quotes may exceed these example ranges.

Location Matters

Typical Food Prices

Convenience store meal: ₩4,000–₩8,000

Simple Korean meal: ₩8,000–₩15,000

Cafe: ₩5,000–₩8,000+

Korean BBQ or special meal: ₩15,000–₩30,000+ per person

Kung practical traveler ka, reasonable ang:

₩30,000–₩50,000 per day para sa food

Para sa 5 days:

₩150,000–₩250,000

Approximately:

₱6,250–₱10,400

As of the latest Seoul Metropolitan Government fare information, ang adult subway base fare gamit ang transportation card ay:

₩1,550

Climate Card Short-Term Pass

1 day — ₩5,000

2 days — ₩8,000

3 days — ₩10,000

5 days — ₩15,000

7 days — ₩20,000

For a newly purchased physical card plus the 5-day pass, plan ₩18,000 total (₩3,000 card + ₩15,000 pass). Use the current Seoul short-term pass guide to check each route.

Coverage effective October 1, 2026: subways within Seoul and Seoul-licensed city/town buses are covered. Sinbundang, GTX, subway stations outside Seoul, and airport/express buses are excluded, subject to the stated airport exception.

Incheon Airport direction matters: puwedeng sumakay sa covered station at bumaba sa Incheon Airport T1/T2 on the Airport Railroad, pero hindi puwedeng gamitin ang pass para sumakay sa T1/T2 papuntang Seoul. Budget separately for your arrival transfer and any excluded route.

Sample 5-Day Seoul Budget

Illustrative budget ito per person, for 5 days/4 nights.

Round-trip airfare: ₱10,000

Accommodation (4 nights): ₱8,000

Food: ₱7,500

Transportation: ₱1,200

Attractions: ₱2,000

Shopping / souvenirs: ₱4,000

Miscellaneous / emergency: ₱3,000

TOTAL: Approximately ₱35,700

Sa ganitong budget, possible ang comfortable but practical 5-day Seoul trip nang hindi naman luxury travel.

Ano ang Idadagdag sa Sample Budget?

Before relying on the ₱35,700 sample total, check what your bookings already include. Keep the emergency allowance separate from known unpaid costs.

Philippine travel tax: TIEZA lists ₱1,620 as the full economy-class travel tax for taxable travelers; reduced rates or exemptions may apply. Check whether your ticket already includes it before paying separately. Add it only if due and not already in your airfare total.

Also price any visa/application-center expenses, airport transfers, checked baggage, mobile data and travel insurance that are not in your quoted totals. The general ₱1,200 transport line does not guarantee that all airport transfers fit inside it.

Budget conversion, room-sharing calculations, short-term pass coverage and travel-tax check reviewed: October 25, 2026.

Puwede bang ₱25,000 Lang?

Cash or Card sa Korea?

3. Hindi kailangang restaurant meal bawat kain

Convenience stores, traditional markets at affordable local restaurants can help reduce your food budget.

Final Budget Recommendation

Kung first time mong pupunta sa Seoul mula Pilipinas, magandang practical target para sa 5-day trip ang:

₱35,000–₱45,000 Per Person

Kasama na rito ang:

Airfare

Accommodation

Food

Transportation

Basic attractions

Moderate shopping

₱50,000 or More
