Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan 2026: Magkano ang Puwedeng Hiramin, Requirements at Paano Mag-Apply Online

Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan 2026 amount requirements and online application

MPL Terms: Check the Form Version

This guide was checked against Pag-IBIG MPLAF HQP-SLF-065, V10, May 2025, including its guidelines on the second page, and the October 13, 2026 government update. The form copy is hosted by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority. Confirm the form and terms supplied for your own application before submission.

ItemTerms in the reviewed V10 form
Basic savings requirementAt least 12 monthly membership savings; the form also describes equivalent-savings cases
Maximum entitlementUp to 90% of Total Accumulated Value (TAV), subject to existing loans and capacity to pay
Interest basis1.4583% per month on a diminishing balance, including interest during the grace period
Repayment choices1, 2 or 3 years
If no term is selected2 years
Grace period2 months; interest still applies

Magkano ang Puwedeng Hiramin?

Hindi automatic na 90% ng TAV ang matatanggap mo. The reviewed form uses the lowest of the requested amount, the available entitlement after relevant existing balances, and the amount supported by capacity to pay.

Hypothetical exampleAmount
TAV shown in the member record₱50,000
90% of TAV₱45,000
Less an existing Calamity Loan balance₱10,000
Remaining entitlement in this example₱35,000
Amount requested₱30,000
Amount supported by capacity-to-pay assessment₱28,000
Lowest of the three limits₱28,000

Illustration lamang ito, hindi approval o release quote. In this example, the existing balance is a separate Calamity Loan. A renewal of an existing MPL has its own balance-settlement calculation. Ask for the official gross loan amount, amounts applied to existing obligations and net cash release; do not subtract the same balance twice. Aggregate short-term loans must remain within the applicable 90% TAV limit.

Sino ang Maaaring Mag-Apply?

The V10 form lists the basic conditions: the required membership savings or permitted equivalent, active membership at application, sufficient proof of income, and no default in existing MPL, Calamity Loan or HELPs accounts. It has separate instructions for members who previously withdrew their savings. Check your posted record and ask Pag-IBIG to resolve missing savings or account-status questions before applying.

Prepare the application form, identification and income documents required for your membership category. Employed applicants may need employer certification of net pay. Self-employed and OFW applicants should use the documentary instructions for their own source of income rather than copying an employed applicant’s file.

Interest, Term and First Payment

The reviewed form states 1.4583% monthly interest on a diminishing balance. A monthly diminishing-balance rate, a flat or add-on rate, and an annual effective rate describe different calculations. Compare the official repayment schedule and total payable, not just the smallest-looking percentage.

Choose a 12-, 24- or 36-month term deliberately. The form’s default is 24 months if no term is selected. The two-month grace period carries interest. Under the form’s schedule, remittance starts in the third month from the DV/check or manual-disbursement-voucher date, with payment due by the 15th; the next working day applies when that date is non-working. Use your issued schedule for the actual dates.

Application and Release Checks

Use Virtual Pag-IBIG to check the services available to your account, or request the current MPL form and category-specific checklist at a branch. Review your MID, membership record, selected amount and term, employer certification where needed, and approved disbursement details. Do not assume the application is complete until all required documents and confirmations have been received.

Before accepting a release, keep a copy of the approved principal, net proceeds, monthly installment, first due date and total repayment. If payroll deduction is interrupted, ask how to continue direct payments instead of assuming the obligation has stopped.

Renewal Is Not Automatic

The V10 form permits renewal after the equivalent of four monthly amortizations has been paid, not earlier than the sixth month after the current loan’s DV date, and subject to eligibility. Outstanding MPL obligations are applied against an approved renewal before net proceeds are released. Confirm your own record and calculation with Pag-IBIG.

Compare Different Loan Programs Separately

For another program, read the SSS salary-loan guide. For a housing-related application, use the Pag-IBIG housing-loan guide. Compare purposes, eligibility, net proceeds and repayment schedules using each provider’s own terms.
